UPDATE: Hero of the day was Burnham Harbour Master in search for missing boy

It has been revealed that the hero of the day in the search yesterday (Sunday, 4 March) for a missing child was the Burnham Harbour Master.
It was reported yesterday evening at around 5.30pm that the nine-year-old boy had been found safe and well after Essex Police teams converged on Burnham-on-Crouch in a full-scale search for him.
Foot patrols, a police helicopter, the dog section and roads policing team joined Maldon police on the operation after the vulnerable youngster was reported missing earlier in the afternoon.
This morning, a Twitter post from the Essex Police Marine Unit revealed who found the lad:
"Just as we were going off duty yesterday we were tasked to relaunch the Alert lV to search for a vulnerable missing child. Great team and partnership work with
@EPDogSection, @EPRoadsPolicing, @NPAShq, @EPMaldon. "Located safe and well by Burnham Harbour Master!"
