South Woodham Ferrers McDonalds has run out some bottled drinks due to national supply chain issues.

The fast-food restaurant said in a statement on Facebook that it is "temporarily experiencing a shortage on some menu items" - bottled water, fruit shoots and orange juice.

It said that this is due to "national shortages".

The issue is understood to be caused by a shortage of lorry drivers as a result of post-Brexit EU immigration rules, Covid-19 restrictions and self-isolation guidance.

Maldon McDonalds said: "We apologise in advance to any customers impacted and thank you for your patience."
