Employers across the Maldon district are being encouraged to showcase the opportunities they have available at a virtual job fair in February.
The virtual job fair is being organised by Maldon District Council in partnership with the Essex Opportunities Portal team, who provide information on employment, training and careers for residents.
The fair follows previous events in July and October, which were viewed by more than 9,000 residents across Essex.
Councillor Richard Siddall, leader designate of the district council, said: "After the success of the previous virtual job fairs, we are excited to bring this opportunity to employers in the Maldon district.
"Due to shortages in the labour market, businesses have found it difficult to recruit in the past 18 months.
"This event will aim to ease those difficulties and provide them with an opportunity to engage directly with potential candidates in an informal setting."
The job fair will take place on Thursday, 10 February between 11am and 1pm.
It is free for employers to attend and will be held on the Learn Live platform.
Employers will be able to record a 15 minute video based on their business and vacancies, which will be shown to residents during the fair, and they will be able to talk directly to candidates through a live chat function.
Job vacancies can be added to a virtual job before the day of the event.
