A new clothing store for men has opened on Burnham-on-Crouch High Street, in efforts to address the lack of men's clothes available to buy in the town.

Challis Clothing Connection opened at 28a High Street at 9am today (Monday 15 November), and will be offering 10 per cent off all items to customers throughout the day.

Shoppers will also receive a voucher for 10 per cent off orders at the Jolly Fryer, Burnham's popular fish and chips shop, with each purchase made today.

Owner Kye Challis is opening the store after successfully running it online since June - when he first moved to Burnham.

He said: "The community support has blown me away.

"It's definitely a pinch me moment.

"Let's smash this - onwards and upwards."

Kye is committed to providing high-quality clothing for all men in Burnham, and launching on the High Street means he can now expand his stock.

He said: "You never see new shops for men and I want to change that.

"There's not such a variety of clothing and accessories in Burnham anymore, so I thought it would benefit the High Street."

He added: "I want to deliver clothing which comes in different sizes and is affordable but also great quality."

You can find Challis Clothing Connection online here - new lines of stock are currently being added to the store.

You can also visit the store's Facebook page here and Instagram here.
