A host of stars are set to perform once again in Maldon's Promenade Park, as the return of Fantasia has been confirmed.

In The Park Concerts organised the festival in partnership with Maldon District Council last year, when thousands of spectators came to see pop acts from the last four decades take the stage.

The line-up included Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet, S Club Five, Gabrielle and Peter Andre, while the event was hosted by Joey Essex, Denise Van Outen and Martin and Su from Radio Essex.

Organisers have now confirmed the festival is returning to the Prom on Saturday, 18 June 2022.

They said it will feature a "star-studded line-up" with "some of the biggest and most loved pop acts from the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s".

There will also be a fireworks display to round off the festival.
