Residents are being invited to start their Christmas shopping early at a Christmas fayre in Burnham this month, while raising money for a national mental health charity.

The Christmas Fayre will be held at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club on Sunday 21 November, and the club is organising a raffle for the day in aid of Mind.

The charity provides advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

There will be a variety of local stallholders selling items during the fayre, including jewellery, candles and a range of unique Christmas gifts so residents can prepare for the season.

Visitors will be able to enjoy festive treats such as mulled wine and hot chocolate while having the chance to win prizes by participating in the charity raffle.

The fayre will be open to visitors from 11am to 3pm.

Entry is free.

For updates, visit the fayre's Facebook page here.

You can find the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club on The Quay in Burnham-on-Crouch.
