A family from Burnham-on-Crouch is inviting residents to visit its impressive Halloween horror house display later this month, in aid of the air ambulance service.
Shay and Maxine Joyce will give the donations they receive from visitors to the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance to help fund its life-saving work across the county.
The family raised over £600 last year with their spooky display, at their home on Eastern Road in Burnham-on-Crouch, which included killer clowns and animatronic witches.
Shay said: "Last year was our best ever - it was very well received with the kids and adults loving it.
"Hopefully we can do the same or even better for the air ambulance service this year."
He added: "Preparations are well underway now, seeing as we are now finally in October."
The display will showcase animated and static props - including witches, clowns, horror characters and pumpkins - and is free and open to everyone to view.
Shay said: "Donations will be very gratefully received, no matter how big or small - it all massively helps."
The display will be open to visitors on Sunday 31 October, from 4pm to 9pm.
