A local group has announced a meeting for bus users in the Dengie Hundred on October 25.

The Dengie Hundred Bus Users Group is calling on fellow bus users and 'would-be bus users' to attend the discussion, at the Burnham-on-Crouch Town Council Office in Chapel Road.

Organisers have invited those who want "better reliability of services" to join in.

They said: "Calling all bus users and would-be bus users - are you:

  • "Wanting better reliability of services, and journeys at the times - and on the days - when you want to travel?
  • "Keen to see more shelters with better seating and improved connections between bus and train services?
  • "Wanting to improve coordination of different services?

We hope to welcome representatives from local operators and from Essex County Council, plus some local councillors."

It is hoped the meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss current experiences and future requirements.

All are welcome. Light refreshments will be available from 12.45pm.

For more information, visit the Dengie Hundred Bus Users Group's Facebook page, call 07951 462 417, or get in touch via email.
