PROPWASH: Festival of the Air at Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome
For the first time, Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is dedicating an entire event to aviation!
Join us on July 23, for all the thrills of air displays (weather permitting), with plenty of things to keep you buzzing on the ground. More details will be released as they are confirmed, but this event is looking like it could be be the one not to miss!
Featuring everything from up-close-and-personal photo opportunities, to clambering into to cockpits. If you are an aviation fan, this is the event for you!
Langford County Fayre and Classic Car Show at the Museum of Power
Enjoy two major local events held at the Museum of Power this Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.
Folk Music, Talks & Workshops, Agriculture Machinery, Nature & Ecology, Country Crafts, Entertainment, Dog Show (12 noon). Classic Car Show. Miniature Train Rides (extra charge applies). Astaria Model Village OPEN.
Adults £8, Concessions £7, Children (5-15) £5, Children under 5 free
Miniature Railway 10am until 4pm. Adults £2, Children (3-15) £1, Children 2 and under free.
Please note, due to a major refurbishment, the Museum Building will be closed.
Activities will take place in the Marquee and in the grounds of the Museum.
Summer Serenade: Music at St Margaret's Church, Woodham Mortimer
Enjoy a 'summer serenade' as local musicians get together to perform at St Margaret's Church in Woodham Mortimer this Sunday (July 23).
Featuring Penney McAvoy on vocals, Penny Rich on clarinet and saxophone, Gerry Cabañero on guitar, and Ken Hay on keyboard.
Admission is free, although donations would be welcomed. Refreshments will be available.
