Thursday 2 March

The Story behind Maldon's Combined Military Services Museum at the Swan Hotel, Maldon, from 6.30pm

Julie Miller, Curator at Maldon's Combined Military Services Museum, will discuss the history of the museum - from founder Richard Wooldridge's childhood fascination with militaria, to the world class collection held at the museum today.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the Maldon Society's monthly talks, held in the Cygnet Room behind the Swan Hotel, High Street, Maldon.

The doors will open at 6.30pm, giving everyone a chance to look at the latest local planning applications, and to chat to committee members and friends. Drinks can be enjoyed while listening to the talk.

March Carnival CASH Bingo Night at Plantation Hall, Heybridge, from 7.30pm

All money raised will go to fund this year's Maldon Carnival.

You will receive:

Doors open at 7.30pm, and the first game starts at 8pm. Spectators must pay £2. Refreshments are available.
