From a Christmas tree festival to the eagerly-anticipated Burnham Festive Fayre, we have put together a round-up of unmissable events happening in Burnham and the Dengie this weekend.

FRIDAY: Enjoy the town's creativity at Burnham's Christmas tree festival

A range of inventive Christmas trees will be on display at the Burnham United Reformed Church, at 53 Station Road, this weekend.

The trees will be displayed from switch-on on Friday (3 December) until Sunday (5 December), when the festival will end with mass.

Attendees will be able to enjoy festive food and drink while visiting the trees.

SATURDAY: Celebrate the festive season at the Burnham Festive Fayre

The Burnham Festive Fayre is returning to the High Street this weekend, with a range of stalls, entertainment, food and drink for attendees to enjoy.

There will be a Santa's grotto - with tickets available on the day at £2 each - and even a visit from the infamous Maldon Grinch.

The event will begin at 3pm and end at 7pm.

SUNDAY: Listen to live music from talented guitarists at the Queen's Head

Don't miss your chance to watch Tenneson-Mells at the Queen's Head, at 26 Providence in Burnham, this Sunday (5 December).

The duo - made up of Pembroke Tenneson and Dan Mells - will be playing live music at the popular venue from 4pm until 7pm.
