From a festive quiz night to an art show, we have put together a round-up of unmissable events happening in Burnham and the Dengie this weekend.

1. Test out your knowledge at a Christmas quiz night

Head down to Studio on the Quay, in Burnham-on-Crouch, to raise money for charity while answering some festive questions this Saturday (20 November).

Epic Dance, a street dance club based in Burnham-on-Crouch, is organising the quiz night to give local families an evening of fun.

There will be a raffle to raise money for the club to help the dancers fund costumes for future events.

The evening costs £4 per person.

2. Enjoy the art on show in a Dengie church

The Friends of St Nicholas Church, in Tillingham, is holding an art show this Saturday (20 November) in efforts to raise money for the refurbishment of its church organ.

The church, on The Square in Tillingham, will be open to residents between 10am and 4pm to showcase a variety of art.

Entry is free, and there will be tea, coffee and cakes available.

3. Get ahead on your festive shopping at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club Christmas fayre

The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club is holding its annual Christmas fayre this Sunday (21 November).

Enjoy views of the beautiful River Crouch while taking advantage of the variety of items on offer from local stallholders, alongside festive treats and winter warming drinks.

You can even raise money for mental health charity Mind through a raffle on the day, which will give you the chance to win some fantastic prizes.

Simply head down to the club on the Quay, in Burnham-on-Crouch, between 11am and 3pm to enjoy the fayre and get into the festive spirit.
