Here are our top picks for what to do in Burnham-on-Crouch and the Dengie in the coming days:
1. Stargaze with the East Essex Astronomy Club
The East Essex Astronomy Club is holding its monthly meeting in the town this Saturday (16 October) - and everyone is welcome to join.
Come down to Burnham-on-Crouch Village Hall, at 2 Arcadia Road, to listen to a talk or presentation on an astronomical topic, followed by observing the skies afterwards if clear.
The meeting will start at 6.45pm and finish at 9pm.
2. Support the boys from Burnham-on-Crouch Rugby Club
Show your support for the town's 1st rugby team this Saturday (16 October), as the boys play against the Pegasus Palmerians RFC for their first full home league match of the season.
The game will kick off at 3pm at Burnham Rugby Club at the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre on Millfields.
Get behind the team and give them a good home crowd!

3. Run the Burnham 10K
This weekend, you can experience a 10K like no other - from the coastal paths on the seawall of the Dengie peninsula to adventurous trails spanning the open countryside and a finish through the main streets of Burnham.
Yes, the annual Burnham 10K is back with a special autumn date for 2021.
Starting and finishing at the Dengie Hundred Sports Centre, on Millfields in Burnham-on-Crouch, there will be free parking, changing and toilets available - plus plenty of space to bring friends and family.
