WATCH: ‘A great day for fans of rail, radio and rock’ - Rick Wakeman unveils Radio Caroline train at Burnham museum

Prog-rock icon Rick Wakeman officially unveiled a locomotive named after Radio Caroline, in a ceremony at Burnham's Mangapps Railway Museum last Sunday (October 1).
Hundreds of Caroline fans and railway buffs crowded onto the platform, to watch the former Yes keyboardist unveil the plaque.
Radio Caroline presenter Ray Clark helped organise the event, after striking up a friendship with Rick Wakeman.
He told Nub News: "It started as a germ of an idea and took off. It was one of those occasions where everything came together – radio station, railway museum, Rick Wakeman...
"A great day for fans of rail, radio, and rock – what more could you wish for?"
Two special 'Radio Caroline' nameplates were cast, along with two 'Caroline' bell plates. The diesel train is part of a massive collection of locomotives and rolling stock, plus exhibits, train rides and a huge array of railway memorabilia at Mangapps.
