Police are looking to speak to 48-year-old Leon Sinclair

Police have launched an appeal for the whereabouts of a 48-year-old who has links with Maldon and the Dengie in connection with an assault.

Officers are looking for Leon Sinclair, who they want to speak to in connection with an investigation into an assault in Colchester.

He has symbols tattooed on his right arm and a two inch scar on the middle of his forehead.

He also has links to Little Tey and Tiptree.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "If you have any information about where he is you can submit a report online at https://www.essex.police.uk or use the live chat button to speak to an online operator between 7am and 11pm.

"You can also call us on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
