Maldon district: Rural police set out early with speed cameras and issue "several" tickets


ESSEX Police have reported issuing "several tickets" for speeding in the villages and rural roads of Maldon district today (Monday, 21 June).
The Rural Engagement Team set out early with speed cameras and in one instance fined a driver for travelling at 47mph in a 30mph zone in Stow Maries village.
A spokesperson for the team said: "We have been out in the rural villages around the Maldon policing district this morning - a number of people were spoken to and several tickets issued."
