Essex Police has launched an appeal after a car was stolen from South Woodham Ferrers before the New Year.

Officers from the Maldon district are asking residents if they have seen a black Ford Focus Titanium with the registration MA67UKO?

The car was stolen from South Woodham Ferrers at 11.15pm last Wednesday (29 December).

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "If you have seen this vehicle or have any info about where it is, please go to http://essex.police.uk/digital101 to find out how you can let us know.

"Quote 42/302727/21."
