Burnham-on-Crouch Royal British Legion to celebrate its centenary this weekend

The Burnham-on-Crouch branch of the Royal British Legion (RBL) is set to celebrate its 100th anniversary with a special service this weekend.
The service will be held at St Mary's Church at 4pm this Sunday (6 February), and everyone is welcome to attend.
The branch was formed 100 years ago in January 1922, and has been providing advice and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans and their families in Burnham and the Dengie ever since.
The legion also organises the town's poppy appeal, which most recently raised over £15,000 - with the funds used to provide rehabilitation and welfare services.
You can find St Mary's Church on Church Road in Burnham for the service this Sunday.
