'On the Quay' businesses host a series of events and activities for the holiday weekend and half term week ahead

THERE'S a full programme of events on at Burnham-on-Crouch's 'On the Quay' businesses over the coming Bank Holiday Weekend – followed by two children's workshop days on Tuesday and Wednesday of half term week.
The fun will begin on Saturday, 29 May with the resident dance troupe from the Studio on the Quay, Epic Dance, showcasing some of their vibrant dances for all to see from 11am.
There will be DJ Bogart from Blitz Kids Radio, playing some nostalgic sounds with something for everyone.
Also on Saturday, Steel Smoking will be joining the Bistro on the Quay for an evening of food, drink live music (from 5pm until late). This event is ticket only and will cost £22.50 per person, including drink on arrival and food supplied by Steel Smoking.

Then on Bank Holiday Monday, there's a Craft Showcase & Market on at the Emporium on the Quay – featuring 11 stall of beautiful handmade crafts and gifts all providing local people the chance to show and sell their wares. Everyone is welcome to attend and social distancing and Covid safety measures will be in place.
Following on for Tuesday, Thursday and Friday of half term week, there are exciting and Covid-safe workshops planned for all three days.
On Tuesday, there will be a series of dance workshops at Quay Studios with Epic Dance and celebrity guest Chris from Chris and Wes, the dance duo who won TV reality show Got To Dance in 2010. The sessions will run for different age groups as follows:
-8 and under: 10am to 11am
-12 and under: 11am to 12.30pm-13 to 18 years: 12.30pm to 2pm.
The cost of tickets, which must be booked, is £10 for 8 and under and £15 ages 9 to 18. For more information or to book, visit and message the page at the link here.
Then on Thursday and Friday (3 and 4 June) there are two full days of children's craft workshops at Quay Studios, offering everything from slime making to cake decorating to suit all young tastes and inclinations.
For youngsters aged seven and over, the workshops will run from 9am to 3pm each day, with lunch and drinks included. The cost is £25 per child – for more information or to book message or call 07908 279751.
