Burnham-on-Crouch landmark radio mast is removed

REMOVAL of the radio mast behind the former Burnham-on-Crouch police station in Station Road, appeared to be going ahead today (Thursday, 6 May).

The mast behind the building - now home to the Essex Police Marine Unit - has been a landmark in Burnham for many years. The structure became redundant with the change to digital communications.
