1. Take part in Burnham's best-dressed Guy Fawkes competition
The organisers of the popular Great Burnham Bonfire have launched a competition to encourage residents to get involved in the fireworks celebrations this weekend.
St Mary's Church, on Church Road in Burnham, is looking to find the best-dressed DIY Guy Fawkes in the town to take pride of place on top of its bonfire this year.
Come down to St Mary's Green at 4pm on Friday (5 November) to be judged.
The competition is open to children aged under 12 years.

2. Solve a murder mystery
The Museum of Power is holding a Sherlock Holmes murder mystery evening this Friday (5 November), and is inviting all amateur sleuths to attend.
There will be a three-course dinner and arrival drinks alongside a dramatic crime scene and a clue-solving game.
The evening will begin at 6.30pm and end at 10.30pm.

3. Watch the spectacular display at the Great Burnham Bonfire
Celebrate bonfire night in style by coming down to St Mary's Church, on Church Road in Burnham, this Saturday (6 November).
The evening is back with a bang after being cancelled last year due to the pandemic, and organisers hope to see lots of residents there.
Gates will open to attendees at 6pm on the night, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks will follow shortly after.
Entry is free.
