The Essex Vax Van is returning to Burnham to hold another pop-up clinic, following the success of its February visits to the town.

The van delivered more than 100 Covid vaccines to residents over three pop-up clinics at the start of February, which were coordinated by the Maldon and District Community Voluntary Service (CVS), Burnham Town Council and volunteer marshals.

Town councillor Mary-Ann Munford said the vaccines were received by residents "aged 12 and upwards who hadn't been able to access vaccination clinics elsewhere".

Maldon CVS, who runs the district's vaccination hub at Longfield Medical Centre, has now confirmed the van is returning to Burnham on Sunday, 13 March, to offer first, second or booster doses to residents.

The van will be parked at Burnham Surgery, on Foundry Lane, from 11am to 4pm on the day.

You can book your slot by clicking here or calling 01621 851891.

Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

The vaccination clinic at the Maldon District Council offices on Princes Road remains open throughout March for walk-ins, which you can find here.
