The UK's biggest family-friendly rave and festival is set to return to Maldon next year, after coming to the district earlier this year.

Raver Tots, a children's music festival, was a sold-out event when it came to the district for the first time in July this year.

A variety of performers took to the stage, including Judge Jules, Brandon Block, Heartless Crew, Artful Dodger, Wideboys, Hyperactive MC, Stevie A, Jaguar Skills, Moody Mike, DJ Phantasy and Nicky Blackmarket.

Organisers have now announced the festival is returning to the Prom on Sunday, 19 June from 12.30pm to 6pm.

The full line-up of artists, who will be playing house, garage, drum and bass and old school classics, is set to be announced soon.

There will also be free rides, activities, play areas and a big dance space suitable for all ages.

Adults are only allowed to attend with a child, with a maximum of three adults to one child.

A spokesperson for Raver Tots said: "All Raver Tots festivals in the past year sold out in advance, so early booking is essential."

They added: "Raver Tots has an ongoing charitable interest, having raised and donated over £50,000 to charity in 2021 - supporting Brain Tumour Research and children requiring urgent medical care that is not available on the NHS, amongst other important causes."

Tickets go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Friday, 26 November).

Tickets for babies start at £4 each, children at £15 and adults at £18.

No tickets will be available on the gate.
