ROADWORKS that will see the closure of Chapel Road in Burnham-on-Crouch are now expected to start on Monday, 23 August.

Information on the scheduled works was last updated this morning (Wednesday, 4 August) and indicates the works will last until Tuesday, 7 September.

Diversions will be in place and it is not expected that significant traffic delays will be caused.

The roadworks were originally expected to begin on 2 August.
